Oak ledged doors in a stone cottage
Rustic oak ledged doors and cupboard doors fitted to suit the exposed stone walls of a cottage.
Internal doors hung by CCH Joinery: oak cottage, shaker, glazed panel and painted doors, trimmed to the opening and fitted with hinges, latches and handles.

Door fitting is the first thing on CCH Joinery’s badge. They hang internal doors in all the usual styles, from oak cottage and shaker doors to white glazed panel doors and painted cottage doors.
Few openings are perfectly square, so each door is trimmed to its own frame rather than to a standard size. It is then hung on hinges, the latch and handles are cut in and fitted, and the door is adjusted until it swings freely, closes cleanly and leaves an even gap all round.
If the frame, lining or architrave is damaged or out of true, we’ll tell you before we start and price putting it right, so the new door isn’t let down by what’s around it. One door or a whole house, the standard is the same.

Yes. No job is too small, and a single door gets the same care as a whole house.
All the usual internal styles, including oak cottage, shaker, glazed panel and painted doors. You can see examples in our gallery.
Fire doors are handled by A&P, our fire door team, because they have to be installed to the door’s certification. You can ask for both in the same quote.
